Go Professional- Cross Training Project-

A World leading Consultancy instructed Go Professional on an exclusive Basis to recruit a team Technical Support Engineer for Cutting edge signalling System. The client required engineers from a Mechanical/electronic Testing background and cross train into a consultancy environment...no easy task! The engineers will provide technical support to customers on all aspects of there cutting edge signalling control system and its subsystems- Go was instrumental in the candidate selection process, which incorporated telephone pre-screening, the completion of a Short listing Check List, arranging an assessment Day and a second Technical Assessment with a presentation involving the Engineering Director and Human Resources Manager. Go also hired state of the art studios in London where the interviews took place. The campaign was a massive success with the client subsequently making 3 successful offers to candidates

Go Appoint New Resourcing Manager- Sophie Barua

Sophie Barua joins Go Professional as Resourcing Manager- Sophie will lead the delivery teams to ensure all campaigns are managed to the most cost effective manner and to the agreed timescales. Sophie Brings a wealth of recruitment expertise underpinned with Ba (Hons) Psychology- Sophie will be responsible for the planning, utilisation, development and management of resources required to effectively deliver the resource team’s overall financial and other qualitative targets. Go Professional have been selected to join a Preferred Supplier status for a leading Multi-discipline for a Major Engineering company within the Construction sector. Go completed a vigorous tendering and validation process where representatives from this client audited our financial, quality, environmental and administration policies. Go was approved with flying colours and have already made several permanent placements of key personnel.

Go Pro Deliver a Commercial Team for £365m Civils Project

One of the worlds Top 5 Consultancy companies has selected the services of the Go Professional to work with them on several key hires in the UK. Our Client is the managing Consultancy of multiple Civil Engineering sites for a circa £365mil Project over 5 years until 2010. The Framework is based on bespoke form of contract (similar to NEC Form of Contract), with individual projects awarded on call-off basis with values ranging from £750k to £30mil. Focusing on growing their Commercial team, Go have identified and placed several Quantity Surveyors and a Commercial Manager heading up the team

Spectacularly Successful Signalling Design Recruitment Campaign

A world leading Rail construction firm approached Dave Viera at Go Professional to help recruit a Project team of Signalling Design Engineers. Our response was immediate and successful. Following an extensive advertising, Networking and headhunting campaign we arranged an open day at client offices. The client was delighted with the results and our candidates were rewarded with upper quartile contracts on a long term basis.

Client Adrenaline Weekend

Go Pro- took several key clients and contractors away for an action pack adrenaline weekend as a token of our appreciation for their valued business. The team travelled to Chamonix (France) for a 1st Class weekend of Mountain Biking, Rock Climbing and White Water Rafting and even found the time to visit the local casino- - The trip was a massive success and will become an annual event until somebody sustains serious injury at which point we may have to re-think our next trip.

ETCS + GSM-R = ERTMS

With GO Professionals expertise in breaking into new and innovative markets 2008 has seen an impressive explosion of growth and innovation in the Signalling Systems technology sector. GO Partnership have developed a thorough understanding of this dynamic space and an developed an impressive client list across ERTMS. ETCS is the new control-command system; GSM-R is the new radio system for voice and data communication. Together, they form ERTMS, the new signalling and management system for Europe, enabling interoperability throughout the European Rail Networks. Our clients are at the forefront of solutions for the Rail Signalling Sector and we see this as a space to watch as it grows in its innovation and application! As a result we have placed two Principle Signalling Designers, four Designers and two Assistants on a Permanent Basis with a leading Design house.
